Mucho tiempo atrás, la hija del rey Dragón, Toyo-Tama (Joya Rica) se casó con un cazador llamado Hoori (Fuego Tenue o Yama-Sachi-biko), que vivió con ella durante tres años en su reino acuático.
Hoori extrañaba su país, y por eso regresó al mundo superior, pero antes descubrió que Toyo-Tama estaba embarazada. Este hijo después tuvo cuatro niños, uno de los cuales fue Kamu-Yamato-Iware-Biko, el primer emperador humano de Japón, ahora conocido como Jimmu Tenno.
Hoori era hijo de Ninigi y Ko-no-Hana. Ninigi era el nieto de Amatereasu. Hoori y sus hijos tienen ascendencia divina, la cual llega a los primeros dioses y diosas de Japón.
