Es importante resaltar que numéricamente hablando, encontré lo siguiente; la primera parte del poema (que comprende las primeras dos secciones y aborda “lo cotidiano” por llamarlo de alguna forma) cuenta en conjunto con nueve núcleos temáticos (El importantísimo nueve, como los nueve mundos, las nueve virtudes, los nueve días que colgó Odín.) Luego hay una sección que sirve de transición entre los dos grandes temas (La sección dónde se liga lo cotidiano que es enamorar a Gúnnlod, con lo divino que es obtener el Odrórir -el hidromiel de la poesía-, sección que podría relacionarse con Midgard por ser el centro). Y finalmente nos encontramos con cuatro secciones sobre el manejo de magia rúnica, siendo el doble de secciones que el tema anterior, pero sin tener núcleos temáticos. (Y pensando en lo que el cuatro puede significar, tenemos los cuatro puntos cardinales, los cuatro elementos, y si tomamos en cuenta que al centro del poema está una sección de transición, y que tampoco tiene subdivisiones, y que podría relacionarse con Midgard como ya dije, tendríamos los cinco puntos utilizados en la ubicación germana, norte, este, sur, oeste y midgard.) Claro que estas especulaciones son arbitrarias, ya que se basan en mi juicio y las divisiones temáticas que encontré y que son relativas, porque el códice original, según estudiosos, puede estar incompleto, por lo tanto, existe información que estoy dejando necesariamente fuera de mi análisis y que podría cambiar por completo el panorama.
Fueron los druidas los que desarrollaron una escritura secreta basada en el alfabeto Oghámico y aplicada a las hojas de las plantas. En ella cada muesca o grupo de incisiones estaba relacionado a un árbol, cuyo nombre en gaélico irlandés lo relacionaba con una letra. Así recolectaban toda clase de hojas, que utilizaban para enviar mensajes que sólo podían leer personas iniciadas en druidismo, consistentes en intercalar las hojas a lo largo de un hilo, según su correspondencia alfabética.
Este alfabeto tiene relación con el calendario druídico, en el que las trece primeras consonantes correspondían a cada uno de los trece meses lunares y cada uno de ellos a su vez está relacionado con un árbol. En la rueda celta del año están marcados los meses y su correspondencia con cada árbol, así como las fiestas siguientes:
Samhain: 31 de octubre, última noche del año druídico. Festividad para honrar a los muertos.
Beltayne: 1 de mayo. Agradecimiento a los dioses familiares por proteger los fuegos del hogar.
Ymbolc: 1 de febrero. Festividad de la purificación y de recogimiento invernal en espera de la primavera.
Lugnasad: 1 de agosto. Celebración de la cosecha y agradecimiento a la tierra por su generosidad.
Ostara: 21 de marzo. Celebra la llegada de la primavera.
Litha: 23 de junio. Celebra la abundancia y la belleza de la tierra.
Yule: 23 de diciembre. Celebra el nacimiento del Dios Sol.
Mabon: 23 de septiembre. Celebra el fin del verano.
