MINOTAURO
En la mitología griega, Asterión el Minotauro, era un monstruo con cuerpo de hombre y cabeza de toro.
Según reza la leyenda,el dios Poseidon donó al rey Minos un precioso toro blanco,para que este lo sacrificara en su honor.
Minos quedó prendido de la belleza del toro, y cuándo llegó el dia del sacrificio,sacrificó a otro toro en lugar del donado por Poseidon.
El Dios del mar, furioso por el engaño,hizo que la bella esposa de Minos,Parsifae se enamorara del animal y esta pidió a Dédalo que le construyera un disfráz de vaca, con el fin de poder consumar el amor que sentía por el animal.
Dédalo le diseñó un disfráz tan perfecto que fruto de la copula de Parsifae con el toro, nació el Minotauro, un hibrido con cuerpo de hombre con cabeza y rabo de toro.
Minos antes de encarcelar a Dédalo por traición, le hizo diseñar el célebre laberinto, donde viviría por siempre el Minotauro.
Pero la venganza del Dios aun no había terminado, porque se tenia que alimentar de carne humana, y cada siete años se le debían ofrecer en sacrificio catorce jovenes virgenes, con los que el Minotauro saciaba su apetito.
El Minotauro, fue muerto por Teseo, que fue ayudado por Ariadna la hermanastra del Minotauro, quíen le proporcionó el hilo con el cual una vez muerto el Minotauro,Teseo pudo salir del laberinto
